Ordering
- When do I need to order by?
- Orders for a given weekend close Friday at 12pm. Anything placed before then is baked fresh for that Saturday and Sunday. After the cutoff you'll be ordering for the following weekend.
- Is everything baked fresh?
- Yes. We bake to order for the weekend rather than keeping stock on a shelf, so what you pick up was made that same weekend.
- Are there minimum quantities?
- A few of the smaller short eats (like patties) are sold in packs of six. The menu shows the pack size on each item, and your box keeps you at a valid quantity automatically.
- Do I need an account?
- No. You can order as a guest in one pass. Signing in is optional and just adds order history, one-tap reorder, and saved contact details for next time.
Pickup & delivery
- Where and when is pickup?
- Pickup is in Barrie, ON, on Saturday and Sunday afternoons (2-5pm). You'll get the exact details on your order confirmation.
- Do you deliver?
- We deliver locally around Barrie. Central Barrie (L4M, L4N) is a $7 delivery fee and greater Barrie (L9J, L9S, L9X) is $10. Enter your postal code at checkout and we'll tell you right away whether you're in the area and what the fee is.
- What if I'm outside the delivery area?
- Choose pickup instead, or reach out and we'll see what we can do. Postal codes outside the listed areas can't be delivered to automatically.
Payment
- How do I pay?
- Two ways: card (processed securely by Stripe, we never see your card details), or Interac e-transfer. Pick whichever you prefer at checkout.
- How does e-transfer work?
- When you choose e-transfer we email you the payee address and a reference number for your order. Send the transfer with that reference and we confirm it on our end before baking.
Cakes & platters
- Can I order a custom cake?
- Yes. Custom cakes are quoted by hand so the size, flavour, and date are right before anything is paid. Tell us the occasion on the cake request form and we'll send a quote. If you're signed in, your past requests show up in your account with a 'request similar' shortcut.
- How much notice do party platters need?
- The larger party platters need about 48 hours' notice so we can prep them properly. Smaller short eats just follow the regular Friday-noon weekend cutoff.
Dietary & allergens
- Can you handle allergies or dietary needs?
- Add a note to your order with any allergies or dietary needs and we'll do our best to accommodate. Our kitchen handles common allergens, so we can't guarantee an allergen-free environment, but tell us and we'll be careful and honest about what's possible.
